WRONG COLOUR PLAYERS UNDERPANTS GO DOWN BADLY

It’s not often that youth football matches get in the news, but a recent FA Youth Cup game played at Newport County ground, made not only the national and local newspapers and Welsh and Bristol BBC television but spread around the world courtesy of YouTube. What made the headlines was not something that happened on the pitch but on the touchline. It appears that two young members of Bath football club were wearing the wrong colour of what Law 4 (players equipment) calls undershorts.

There are eighteen powers and duties of a referee and two of them refer to injured players. The first one says............Click here for full article

ARE WE TOO SENSITIVE TO RACIAL COMMENTS AND SPITTING?

If we believe what been going on in the last couple of weeks, we could come to the conclusion that we in England are too sensitive for the rough and ready world of football. The most noise has been about FIFA President Sepp Blatter’s contribution to the tales of racism between players, following two recent instances in the Premier League, Chelsea and England captain John Terry allegedly against Anton Ferdinand of QPR and the claim by Manchester United’s Patrick Evra that he was racially abused by Liverpool striker, Uruguayan Luis Suarez..........Click here for full article
