President

Ken Clark

Shall preside over the Annual General Meeting, any Special General Meeting, and generally oversee the good workings of the Association.

Chairman

Aaron Baker

Shall chair Committee and Open meetings as well as provide the Association with direction and leadership.

Vice Chairman

Steve Saunders

Shall chair Committee and Open meetings in the absence of the Chairman, and oversea the programme for Open Meetings and authorised events.

Secretary

Mike Baker

Shall handle all official communications, maintain essential archives, advise the Committee and members on matters of importance and interest, and provide minutes of Committee and Open Meetings.

Treasurer

Malcolm Hillen

Shall manage all financial aspects of the Association ensuring they comply with accepted accounting principles, involving maintaining accurate financial records and membership records, ensuring the financial stability with budgetary control, and reporting on the Association’s financial position to the Committee and Members.

Welfare Officer

Ben Atherton

Counselling members on all welfare issues and concerns, and supporting those who have been subjected to abuse or assault, or facing disciplinary hearings or FA charges, and liaising with the national RA Welfare and Support team where required.

Membership

All officers and officers without portfolio are expected to actively promote membership of the Association, and be available to represent the Reading RA at events where there is potential for the recruitment of new members.
