Open meeting – April 2012

We’ve got a great evening lined up for you this Thursday, 19 April, 7.45pm at the Madejski Stadium as usual.

Our own Football League Referee, Iain Williamson, is going to show us the much talked about DVD of some of the recent high profile bad tackles. He’ll also be sharing PGMO’s view on how these should be interpreted, so I am sure there will be plenty of lively debate!
And, if that’s not enough, Iain is also going to share his recent experience from the Bradford v Crawley match where a mass brawl at the final whistle led to 5 red cards – a Football League record.
We’re nearing the end of another season and congratulations if you’ve achieved a promotion, or been appointed to any end-of-season plums.
Remember, you can keep up with our news on www.readingrefs.org.uk as well as finding plenty of useful links.
Do try to make it along for what promises to be another great evening.
I hope to see you on Thursday.
Stephen
